Memories

I swore that I would never do a tag again, but I thought that this one would be fun to look back on memories.  Here are the rules:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Dave's memory: Skiing with you in a blizzard and wondering how you were skiing uphill!

Katie's memory: You coming to my wedding in Cali and doing my hair for me. It was so fun to have a friend help out on such an important day.

Ohhh. . .lots of memories. Finding your frozen glove in the snow, "I'm telling you girl", finishing each others sentences, Brian getting his eye brows waxed for the first time, thinking Jimmy was a figment of your imagination, beach trip with Tracy, traveling to your wedding in the SNOW, buggies in Amish country, I could go on. . .

Ummm... "The Burke Family" reminded me of this one... You screwing up your ankle at girls camp so that you had to wear a brace, and then some guy in a Haunted House at Barnett grabbed your injured leg and you kicked him in the head. Haha.

I remember all of our good talks while you did my hair. I'll also remember how you offered to take us to the airport when we were flying home for Christmas since we didn't know many people in Virginia yet. I remember going home and telling Cody "Amy is the nicest, most thoughtful person I have met in Virginia so far." I was so lucky to have met you!

This is Cali- I remember when you first came out to VA. You and Jimmy claimed to be "just friends" at the time. Of course it was obvious you were more than that:) But I remember that when you left, I really missed you. Even though I had only met you a little bit, I felt like you were already like a sister. And look how things turned out! Love you! Don't know what I would do without you-

I am going to have to say Zions Bank! I remember we had similar pants on one day and that damn vick Looser got mad at me and said I had to go home and change because they were to bright for a bank setting, hello they were navy blue, yours were pink-lol anyways that was the day I quit and never returned.lol. I also loved the time you spilled pizza sauce on Shyloh's white carpet. Shyloh and Greg, need I say more!

My memory would be hiking the Narrows and Arches together. You have always been so easy to talk you and I remember getting into deep talks with you on those hikes. That was a lot of fun. I am hoping to get to the Narrows this year, my husband has never been.:)Love ya Ging!

Dave, I will never forget that ski trip! It was the craziest feeling not knowing which way, or how fast we were going, and yet we kept going back for more.

Katie, I was so glad that we got to come down to your wedding! It was a day that we had all waited a long time to see, and I will always remember talking to your mom, and how proud of you she was! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!

Tashina, From day one I felt like we were sisters! It was so much fun to be your companion, and I am so gald that we have kept in touch. Hopefully we will get to see each other when you come out this way for the wedding!

NelLyn, Our memories go way back to grade school. We have had some fun times. I still laugh about that meow mix story!

Derek, You silly boy, I wouldn't do a thing like that! Love ya little bro!

Becky, That is so nice of you to say. I totally loved you too. I remember being in major baby blues, and you would always drag me out of the house to do things. You are the best!

Sarah, I was the lucky one to have met you. I remember being so impressed with you. One time was at an enrichment we had. I always stayed in my comfort zone and around my close peers, but I looked over and there you were at a table with all of the older ladies in the ward, and you were laughing and having such a good time. I remember thinking that I needed to be more like you.

Cali, That trip was where it all began. I will never forget your face when Margie said " I think she likes you Jimmy" with all of us sitting right there. What would I do without you?? You have been such a strength and support to me. You and Kim are not sister-in-laws to me, you are my sisters. I love you girl!!

McKell, Oh the good old days of Zions Bank. Vic sure was a pill! I would not have lasted very long without you being there. The Greg and Shyloh days were pretty funny! Trust me to spill red sauce on white carpet!

Shayla, those hiking trips were so much fun! I loved our chats too. That was the first time that you told me about Doug. I think he was still on his mission at that point.? It was so good to talk to you the other day. I hope things are getting easier. You are amazing, and I love you girl!

I remember when I first me you at the guy's house and they said your name was Ginger. I was like "Really? I thought that was just a stripper name!" And then being so excited when I found out you and Jimmy were dating. It took a great woman to make him settle down! And of course you doing my hair before I got married--that was the first time I'd ever been to a real salon to get my hair done and you did such a great job!

P.S. That is supposed to say "when I first met you"!

Most of my memories are of my beloved "Sister Oberg" and I didn't find out for months that we actually had the same name. Anyway, my greatest memory of you is right after I was baptized I walked into the dressing room and you screamed (maybe we both screamed)so loud that someone had to come in and tell us to quiet down!
