Girls Night in Park City

This past weekend I took a well needed trip to Utah to see my family and friends.  One of my best friends from high school is moving to San Diego, and she recentley had a baby, so I decided to just take Walker and go out for the weekend to see them. (I don't think my mom would let me come without any of the grandkids)  It was so easy flying with just one kid!!!

The first day I was there, I spent most of the day with my mom, but I was able to meet up with my friend Amy for lunch.  Amy is one of my favorite people in the world.  I taught her on my mission, and the second I met her, I knew that I had known her before.  It had been a long time since I last saw her, so it was so much fun to catch up with her.  She is an amazing person!!

Then the next day, I got together with most of my friends from high school, and we went up to Park City.  We had such a fun time together.  We shopped for hours and hours.  It was funny, because it was a "Girls" trip, but we all ended up mostly shopping for our kids.  We finally got around to eating dinner at about 9:00 that night.  These friends are all like sisters to me.  It is so nice to get together with them, because we can always just pick up  from where we left off.  I am so glad that we have remained close over the years, and feel very blessed to have such wonderful friends in my life.    We missed those that couldn't make it.  Thanks Tracy for driving up from St George the night before to be there.  You are a great friend!!

The next day I flew home.  It was a very quick but fun trip.  I would have loved to have seen more people, and spent more time with those that Iwas able to see, but we are hoping to make it out there for Christmas.  Thanks mom and Tara for watching Walker, and thankyou Tara for letting me use your camera since I am a ditz and forgot mine!!

How fun to have such a big group of friends! It looks like you had a great time. On a completely separate note...I have been wanting to cut/change my hair but Jimmy told me not to because you would like to do it for me. If I pay you, will you give me a much needed makeover when I get there (and liposuction if you have the ability), if not a haircut will do. I am HATING my hair!!!!

Long time no comment. Even though I haven't up to commenting, I've sure enjoyed reading your blog and keeping up to date on your family. Your "Girls Night Out" looks like lots of fun. I look forward to getting back to Utah and having one of those again.
