Johnson Family Updates

Well, as usual I am late to catch the latest trend, but I think blogging will be a better way to keep in touch with all of you.
To start out with, we are living in McLean, Virginia. For those of you who don't know, it is right outside of Washington DC. We enjoy it here. It is a nice place with a lot of trees, and unfortunately a lot of bugs. It is especially beautiful this time of year as the leaves are changing colors.
We have three beautiful children. Wyatt will turn 4 in November, McKartnee will turn 2 in December, and Walker was just born in July.
Wyatt is at a fun age. He loves animals, bugs, dinosaurs, and reading books. He is learning to write his letters, and is going to start a little preschool next week. I am excited for him, because I feel like he is getting bored here at home.
McKartnee is my little ham. She will do anything to be the center of attention and make people laugh. She loves her dolls, toy phone, and putting on any clothes or shoes she can find. Both Wyatt and McKartnee have adjusted well to the baby. They are constantly asking to hold him, and are smothering him with hugs and kisses.
Walker was born July 14, and has been such a good baby. He already sleeps through the night, which my other kids did not do until after they were a year old. He is just starting to smile and goo a lot which is so fun.
Jimmy is working in DC as a government contractor. They do research for the navy. He enjoys it, but is currently looking for another job. He has a wide variety of skills, and is so personable, that I know he will have no problems finding another job he enjoys.
I have a salon in my basement, and have been doing hair one night a week and on saturdays. I am on maternity leave right now, but I am not planning on going back. I am not a good multi tasker like many of my friends out there, and I was starting to feel burned out. I love doing hair, but between hair, Young Womens, and everything else, I just felt like I didn't have enough qualtiy family time. So for right now I am just enjoying staying at home.
Well that is all for now, but I wil try to post often and keep you all updated on our lives.
